Who is insurance broker?
Insurance broker ALTERISK is acting in interests of his clients and provides services related to conclusion (signing) and maintenance of insurance policies and reinsurance agreements: consulting, insurance cover development, risk placing, preparation of documents, claims handling.

Law about Organization of Insurance Business in Russian Federation (point 2 clause 8) gives following definition of insurance broker:
«Insurance brokers - natural persons permanently reside on the territory of Russian Federation and registered as individual businessman in accordance with Russian legislation, or juridical persons (commercial organizations) which are acting in the interests of an insured (reinsured) or insurer (reinsurer) and carrying out activity for providing of services concerned with the conclusion of insurance (reinsurance) contracts between an insurer (reinsurer) and an insured (reinsured) and also with the execution of these contracts (hereinafter – providing of insurance brokerage services). At the providing of services concerned with the conclusion of mentioned contracts insurance broker does not have a right to act in the interests of insured and insurer at the same time.
Insurance brokers have a right to carry out any other not forbidden by the law activity concerned with insurance except acting as insurance agent, insurer, reinsurer.
Insurance brokers do not have a right to carry out any activity not concerned with the insurance.»
